ODS is headquartered in Los Angeles, CA and also has offices/plants in Texas and North Carolina centrally located to serve clients across the country.\r\nSummaryThe primary responsibilities of the Inventory Control Associate is to assist with the management of the inventory of all materials needed for the production floor.\r\nDuties and ResponsibilitiesConduct cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain stock levels (daily, monthly and yearly counts).\r\nAssist with the reporting of nonconforming and damages of materials and any stock issues\r\nItem lookup\r\nComplete return to stock process(RTS)\r\nAssist with destruction of client owned inventory and company materials\r\nProficient use of computers, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,Outlook)\r\nAdhere to all policies, procedures, and compliance requirements\r\nKeep area clean and clear of clutter\r\nOther duties as required\r\nQualifications & RequirementsHigh School graduate, or completion of GED preferred\r\nAt least one year working in a warehouse or working with inventory\r\nAbility to work independently and with other coworkers\r\nAbility to drive a forklift or use pallet jacks when offloading trucks\r\nAbility to read and understand packing slips\r\nMust be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)\r\nStrong mathematical and analytical skills necessary\r\nAbility to lift 50 pounds without restriction\r\nMust be able to read, write and communicate in English\r\nMust possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail, along with effective time-management abilities\r\nMust be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals\r\nKnowledge of inventory software and order processing systems considered a plus\r\nMust be able to work overtime\r\nWorking ConditionsMust be able to perform the essential job duties. Work may be performed in an office, warehouse and/or manufacturing environment. Requires the ability to perform the following activities for the majority of the day: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb. In addition, requires the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds.
