Set-up, operate and troubleshoot cabling process following Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions for assigned process. Maintain product documentation per requirements. Perform preventative maintenance tasks, inspection, and trouble-shooting of quality issues to ensure the production of a high quality product within customer specifications.\nEssential Functions:\nSet up, operate and perform preventative maintenance on cabling process\nUtilize computer to view production schedules, specifications, routings, and record production\nAssemble die, spreader plates, and reels of conductors, insulating materials, etc. needed for production\nOrder raw materials from Material Handler as needed for your assigned process\nUse barcode scanner(s) to verify material part numbers\nMaintain product documentation per requirements\nPerform and document all quality inspections as required\nKeep up to date on Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions for assigned process\nFollow all safety rules and practices as well as requirements for use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)\nMaintain a clean working environment\nAssist with scheduled facility inventories\nPractice the 5’s+1 methodology on the assigned area and common areas.\nAll other duties as assigned\nIt is the responsibility of all NW team members to:\nProactively ensure a safe working environment for Team member and guests\nLive and model the Vision, Mission, Quality policy and Safety Policies\nCreate a culture of performance as evidenced by continual improvement in Safety, Quality, Innovation and attaining company sales revenue and earnings growth targets\nCreate a learning organization that can adapt to changing market needs\nAbide by Code of Ethics for Professional Conduct, utilizing appropriate professional and respectful behavior in all situations and maintaining absolute confidentiality.\nSupport the delivery of high-quality products and services that exceed customer expectations.\nCompetencies:\nProblem solving\nAbility and willingness to reach and maintain technician skill level in cabling\nAnalytical ability (Root Cause)\nInterpersonal skills\nVerbal and written communication skills\nDexterity\nBasic computer skills\nBasic math\nTeamwork oriented\nEnglish Proficiency Level: B2 (Upper Intermediate)\nSupervisory Responsibility:\nThis position does not have supervisory responsibilities.\nWork Environment:\nWorking within an air-conditioned production/manufacturing environment. Walking surfaces are cement flooring with anti-fatuige mats. PPE required: Steel toed shoes and safety glasses.\nPhysical Demands:\nStand and walk for 8 hours per shift. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must have the ability to do repetitive hand work with frequent handling, using fingers to feel, and wrists to twist and turn. Ability and agility to work with both hands.\nExpected Hours of Work:\nHours of work is an 8-hour shift with the opportunity to work overtime.\nTravel:\nTravel may be expected for this position.\nRelocation:\nNo relocation is expected for this position.\nRequired Education and Experience:\nHigh School Diploma or GED. Technical degree preferred and/or Cabling Technology Certificate\n1 to 2 years previous manufacturing experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude, and experience with manufacturing equipment.
