This role is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise data integration solutions that enable secure information sharing across criminal justice systems.\r\nThe ideal candidate will possess strong software engineering and data integration expertise, extensive experience with ETL processes, web services, database technologies, and XML transformation technologies, and the ability to support complex integration efforts within a secure federal environment. This position may be performed remotely or onsite in Clarksburg, West Virginia, with occasional travel to Criminal Justice Agencies (CJAs) as required.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance enterprise data integration solutions supporting law enforcement information sharing initiatives.\r\nDesign and utilize automated tools to improve data integration services and standardize integration processes.\r\nDevelop new data integration solutions and enhance existing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) projects using commercial and custom vendor technologies.\r\nTroubleshoot and maintain Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) connections supporting secure data exchanges.\r\nDevelop, test, validate, and maintain transformation code to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with established standards.\r\nMap source data to N-DEx and NIBRS XML data formats, including the N-DEx Information Exchange Package Documentation (IEPD).\r\nCoordinate deployment of transformation code to source systems and enable secure transmission through approved adapters.\r\nSupport modernization initiatives involving data ingest, data integration, system federation, and data sharing capabilities.\r\nProvide technical and business support for data science, analytics, systems engineering, technical operations, and integration activities.\r\nParticipate in technical meetings, teleconferences, and customer engagements with Criminal Justice Agencies (CJAs).\r\nTravel to CJAs as required to support data integration, implementation, testing, and technical assistance.\r\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, including:\r\nStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)\r\nTechnical documentation\r\nProcess workflows\r\nWhite papers\r\nStatus reports\r\nDashboards\r\nProgram reports\r\nTrack project milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics while providing recurring status updates to leadership.\r\nOperate within the FBI CJIS Division's Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment and actively participate in Agile Release Train (ART) activities.\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\nEducation\r\nBachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.\r\nRequired Experience\r\nSoftware development supporting enterprise data integration solutions.\r\nWeb services technologies, including:\r\nSOAP\r\nREST\r\nSoftware procedural languages, including:\r\nPL/SQL\r\nT-SQL\r\nProgramming languages, including:\r\nJava\r\nPython\r\nC\r\nC#\r\n.NET\r\nETL development and data integration technologies.\r\nRelational database management systems, including:\r\nOracle\r\nPostgreSQL\r\nMicrosoft Access\r\nMySQL\r\nSybase\r\nFirebird\r\nc-tree\r\nACE\r\nSQL Developer\r\nOther relational database platforms\r\nXML technologies, including:\r\nXML\r\nXSLT\r\nXSD\r\nDTD\r\nData standards, data validation methodologies, and data quality best practices.\r\nSecure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) implementation and troubleshooting.\r\nLaw enforcement data standards and Information Exchange Package Documentation (IEPD) specifications.\r\nDeveloping, testing, validating, and deploying data transformation code.\r\nTechnical documentation and systems implementation support.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nExperience supporting federal law enforcement or criminal justice information systems.\r\nFamiliarity with FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) environments.\r\nExperience supporting enterprise data sharing initiatives and system federation.\r\nExperience working within a SAFe Agile environment.\r\nSecurity Clearance\r\nActive Top Secret Clearance is required.\r\nCandidates must be able to maintain the required security clearance throughout employment.\r\nWhy Join Data Intelligence, LLC?\r\nAt Data Intelligence, LLC, we deliver mission-focused technology solutions that strengthen national security and public safety.
