They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.\nJob Overview:\nThe Materials Coordinator provides coordination and operational support for material storage, inventory management, shipping, and receiving activities at our Cushing, Oklahoma material storage warehouse. This facility supports Enbridge's construction projects and maintains operational spare inventory for liquids pipeline operations and maintenance activities.\nThis role is responsible for coordinating and tracking material movements, inspecting incoming shipments, directing warehouse contractors, and collaborating closely with Supply Chain, Project, Construction, and Operations teams to ensure the efficient flow, storage, and availability of materials. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting project execution, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.\nKey Responsibilities:\nMaintain administrative control of all material movements into and out of the warehouse facility.\nCoordinate the flow of materials throughout warehouse and laydown yard areas.\nManage material receipts, storage, and staging activities to support project and operational requirements.\nInspect incoming shipments to ensure materials meet purchase order specifications and quality requirements.\nVerify the accuracy of received materials against purchase orders and coordinate with Supply Chain Management and project teams to resolve shortages, discrepancies, or incorrect orders.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date records related to material receipts, inventory, storage locations, and movements.\nCoordinate material shipments and deliveries with logistics providers and transportation carriers.\nConsult with project management teams regarding the disposition, return, transfer, or storage of surplus construction materials.\nPerform material inspections and prepare regular status reports on inventory and material availability.\nProvide guidance and oversight to warehouse contractors to support safe and efficient warehouse operations.\nServe as a key point of contact for Supply Chain, Projects, Construction, Operations personnel, vendors, and external service providers regarding material procurement and receipt activities.\nEnsure a high level of customer service and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.\nSupport cross-functional teams and contribute to collaborative project execution and operational success.\nMaintain warehouse, yard, and storage areas in a clean, organized, and presentable condition.\nEnsure compliance with OSHA requirements, company policies, and all applicable safety regulations.\nPromote safety awareness and participate in maintaining a safe work environment.\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nSeven (7) or more years of experience in construction, quality assurance/control, materials management, warehouse operations, and/or supply chain roles within the pipeline industry.\nExperience working with supply chain procurement systems and material management processes.\nDemonstrated experience conducting material inspections and interpreting technical specifications, drawings, and documentation.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.\nStrong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.\nProven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic smartphone technology.\nCommitment to delivering exceptional internal and external customer service.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nValid driver's license.\nPreferred:\nExperience using Oracle, Maximo, or similar enterprise systems for materials receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.\nExperience within the oil and gas industry.\nWorking Relationships:\nThis position regularly interfaces with:\nSupply Chain personnel\nProject Managers\nConstruction teams\nRegional Operations personnel\nSuppliers and vendors\nLogistics providers and transportation carriers\nWarehouse contractors\nInternal and external customers\nWorking Conditions:\nBased at a pipeline operations terminal with warehouse and outdoor yard facilities.\nWork involves frequent interaction with materials, storage systems, inventory documentation, and material-handling equipment.\nRequired use of personal protective equipment (PPE), which may include steel-toed boots, hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, coveralls, safety goggles, and face shields, as applicable.\nExposure to industrial operating environments may occur.
