Part-Time AP Science Workshop Instructor – Rowland Heights, CA An established private preparatory school in Rowland Heights, California is seeking a charismatic and committed science instructor for a part-time teaching position focused on advanced high school Science and AP-level content. Class is held Monday and Wednesday from 4 pm to 6 pm. Role Overview: The instructor will: Support students with their school-assigned homework, ensuring accuracy and understanding Help students prepare for quizzes and exams, reinforcing key concepts and problem-solving strategies Connect classroom instruction with AP exam content to promote college readiness and testing success Subjects of Expertise: The ideal candidate should be fluent in the following topics: AP Biology AP Chemistry AP Physics AP Environmental Science Position Details: Class Size: Fewer than 15 students Curriculum: Fully provided Schedule: Monday and Wednesdays Class times: 4:00–6:00 PM Commitment: January 5, 2026 to May 29, 2026 Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required Minimum 6 months of teaching Strong classroom management skills Preferred: Single Subject Science Credential or Preliminary Teaching Credential Experience working with middle school and/or high school students Additional Open Positions: AP Calculus Workshop Instructor – Rowland Heights on Tuesday and Thursday from 4 pm - 6 pm Hiring Locations: Rowland Heights, CA Job Type: Part-time Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Work Location: In person
