Lead HVAC Service Technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in equipment repair, particularly in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. This role involves performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Duties Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and ammonia refrigeration systems. Diagnose issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment. Perform equipment repairs and replacements as necessary to maintain system efficiency. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns in residential or commercial properties. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all service calls. Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and any recommendations for future work. Drive company van to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role with a focus on service technician duties. Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and appliances. Familiarity with equipment repair techniques and tools, including the use of an ohmmeter. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients and team members. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
