{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"de603f0f517c9a5e0791795b","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/de603f0f517c9a5e0791795b","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/de603f0f517c9a5e0791795b","title":"Manufacturing Engineer","description":"Manufacturing Engineer\nLAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Manufacturing Engineers for an opportunity in Stuart, Florida.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nManufacturing Engineering & Industrialization\n\nCreate, update, and maintain planning, operation breakdowns, and detailed work instructions.\n\nSupport engineering changes and first-build activities.\n\nParticipate in Manufacturing Engineering Statements of Work (MESOW).\n\nDefine manufacturing and inspection processes aligned with technical, cost, quality, HSE, and schedule requirements.\n\nPrepare and manage complete manufacturing folders (manufacturing/repairinstructions, inspection instructions).\n\nSupport site change boards and develop action plans to resolve complex production issues.\n\nProcess Development & Continuous Improvement\n\nDesign and plan layouts for machining, forming, welding, plastics processing, assembly, and materials handling.\n\nImprove manufacturing processes, tools, and methods to enhance efficiency and quality.\n\nInvestigate and resolve producibility issues.\n\nParticipate in value analysis, FMEA, and propose process and tooling improvements.\n\nApply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to optimize production flow.\n\nTooling & Configuration\n\nReview and approve drawings, ensuring manufacturability and compliance.\n\nParticipate in tooling design validation and provide required technical data.\n\nCollaborate with tooling and quality teams to integrate inspection plans into systems.\n\nSupport prototype manufacturing and validation of new tools.\n\nCosting, Planning & Data Management\n\nProduce RC/NRC cost estimates and schedules in response to RFQs.\n\nConduct Make/Buy analyses.Create and maintain MBOMs, process plans, and material master data in ERP/PLM systems.\n\nMonitor industrialization costs and drive actions to meet targets.\n\nEnsure accurate creation and management of technical data within information systems.\n\nCross‑Functional Technical Leadership\n\nRepresent the Manufacturing Engineering department in meetings with supervisors and production teams.\n\nProvide technical support to internal customers, suppliers, and partners.\n\nContribute to new product introductions and innovation initiatives.\n\nParticipate in activity transfers when required by the industrial plan.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.\n\n10+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, industrialization, or production engineering for aerospace structures.\n\nProven expertise in metallic and composite assembly for large airframe structures.\n\nStrong experience in:\n\nTime computation\n\nDeterminate Assembly (DA)\n\nAssembly tooling & methods\n\nManufacturing processes\n\nInspection planning\n\nAS9100 standards\n\nMBOM creation and management\n\nProficiency with:\n\nCATIA\n\nPLM (Teamcenter preferred)\n\nERP (SAP preferred)\n\nSolid understanding of tolerancing principles.\n\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (preferred).\n\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or veteran status.\n\nLAUNCH offers all full‑time employees the opportunity to enroll in various medical and ancillary benefit plans to allow each employee to find a plan that works best for themselves and their family.
