Our team works closely together to advance our capabilities, and rapidly develop new methods of manufacture.\nAST is located in Oxnard, California - 60 miles northwest of Los Angeles, two miles from the Pacific Ocean and California’s Pacific Coast Highway.\nPosition Summary:\nThe QE is responsible for the efficient evaluation of a variety of manufactured components. They must interpret blueprints and determine the most accurate and effective method of evaluating parts and processes.\nWorking Relationships:\nReceives direction from the Manufacturing Managers, Program Manager and Project Engineers on product specifications and customer requirements and expectations.\nWorks with engineers and production employees on a daily basis.\nWorks with production operators on jobs throughout the day to ensure parts remain in tolerance following release to production and offers support as needed.\nProvides feedback and collaborates on quality improvements with other quality and engineers.\nShares best practices with others to ensure standards are continuously improving.\nCritical Skills / Experience:\nUnderstands complex mechanical drawings and tolerances.
