In this role, you will oversee the sorting, loading, and dispatching of packages, function as a liaison with customers, manage equipment and package flows, and ensure optimal staffing levels. You will oversee a team of outsourced staff to maintain high operational standards and efficiency.\nKey Responsibilities:\nEnhance Productivity: Monitor and improve operational efficiency through key performance indicators.\nCustomer Relations: Maintain high customer satisfaction with effective communication and service.\nReporting: Provide accurate performance and system reports to drive service improvements.\nJob Duties:\nBuilding Preparation: Ensure conveyor belts and equipment are properly staffed and operational.\nDaily Work Planning: Lead daily meetings to assign and prioritize freight processing tasks.\nFlow and Statistics Monitoring: Track belt functionality, package flow, and trailer turns to ensure timely processing. Keep performance reports current.\nTrailer Management: Work with Yard Control to ensure trailer availability for outbound shipments.\nStaffing Coordination: Adjust staffing levels based on volume and operational needs, communicating requirements effectively.\nHub and Sort Operations: Use volume projections and daily reports to manage productivity.
