The organization promotes a culture of continuous improvement, internal development, and cross-functional collaboration across operations, maintenance, engineering, and quality.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Lead, direct, and supervise operations personnel across assigned shiftsEnsure all safety procedures and best practices are consistently followed by employees and contractorsOversee daily production planning and execution, including short-term scheduling and MRP activitiesMonitor and update operational data using SAP or similar systemsCoordinate maintenance activities, follow up on work orders, and support troubleshooting effortsEnsure adequate staffing and resources are in place to meet daily operational needsDrive team development through cross-training, coaching, and performance managementMaintain plant cleanliness, safety standards, and housekeeping schedulesManage operations within defined KPIs, including production costs, maintenance costs, and chemical usageEnsure all products meet specification while maximizing yield and throughputSupport a culture focused on zero defects, continuous improvement, and teamworkEnsure compliance with HACCP, SQF, and established operating proceduresPrepare, review, and analyze operational reportsSupport new product introductions and other operational initiatives as neededMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
