This role goes beyond execution — it requires strategic thinking, technical leadership, high attention to detail, and deep ownership of outcomes across the digital experience to make a meaningful impact on our organization.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nOwnership Headless CMS\nServe as primary owner and subject matter expert of our Headless CMS (Storyblok).\nArchitect and maintain scalable content models, components, and workflows.\nPartner with Content and Marketing teams to ensure flexible, reusable, and future-proof content structures.\nMaintain governance standards for publishing, versioning, permissions, and content integrity.\nEnsure clean separation between content, presentation, and business logic.\nFront-End Development & Technical Execution\nLead front-end development using React / Next.js.\nMaintain fluency in HTML5, CSS3 (including modern layout systems), and component-driven architecture.\nBuild scalable, reusable components aligned with our design system.\nEnsure responsive, accessible, mobile-first development standards.\nOptimize for performance, accessibility (WCAG), and SEO best practices.\nParticipate in code reviews and maintain high standards through GitHub workflows.\nAgile Delivery & Engineering Process\nOperate within Agile methodologies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives).\nManage tickets, bugs, and feature work through Project Management and Ticketing Platform.\nMaintain clean version control and branch strategy within GitHub.\nDocument technical decisions and maintain clarity in acceptance criteria.\nCommunicate blockers early and clearly.\nQuality Assurance & Release Governance\nEnsure all features are tested across browsers and physical devices.\nImplement structured QA and regression testing processes.\nPrevent recurring issues such as:\nBroken components or links\nRendering inconsistencies\nCMS misconfigurations\nAccessibility violations\nIdentification and Flagging of incomplete or incorrect optimization of assets\nPerformance regressions\nOwn post-launch-monitoring and issue resolution\nPerformance & Optimization\nOwn Core Web Vitals, mobile page seed, uptime, and overall site reliability.\nRegularly audit and optimize:\nFront-end bundle size\nImage and asset delivery\nCMS API calls\nCaching strategies\nPartner and DevOps/IT as needed to maintain infrastructure stability.\nSupport A/B testing and analytics implementation.\nStrategic Technical Leadership\nProvide forward-thinking recommendations on tech stack evolution.\nIdentify opportunities for automation, scalability, and performance gains.\nInfluence cross-functional planning with confident, informed technical insight.\nProactively identify risks before they impact delivery timelines.\nContribute to roadmap discussions with both technical and business context.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner closely with Marketing, IT, Clinical and Corporate stakeholders.\nTranslate business requirements into technical solutions.\nMaintain proactive communication regarding timelines, risks, and dependencies.\nDemonstrate initiative and solution-oriented thinking — not just task completion.\nEDUCATION:\nBachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computing Related Field or Equivalent - REQUIRED\nREQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:\nCSS3\nHTML5\nKnowledge of modern frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular\nWillingness to travel up to 25% of the time with occasional nights and weekends.\n\nLocation & Schedule:\nThis position is posted as remote; however, per company policy, candidates residing within a 35‑mile radius of ZIP code 80230 will be required to follow a hybrid schedule, even if they applied to the remote posting.\nRemote: Mondays and Fridays\nOn-site in our Denver Office: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays\n\nWhat We Offer\nAt ERC Pathlight, caring for people is our mission and that begins with caring for our own team.
