Location: Grand Junction, CO 81504Employment Type: Part-TimePay: Pays up to $18.00 per hourSchedule: Friday to Sunday | 12:00 AM - 8:00 AMPosition OverviewCitadel Security USA is seeking a dependable Armed Overnight Patrol Officer to support weekend patrol coverage in the Grand Junction area. This position focuses on maintaining a secure environment through routine patrol activity, site monitoring, and professional incident response during overnight hours.This opportunity is best suited for someone who works well independently, remains attentive during overnight shifts, and can consistently follow security procedures while maintaining a professional presence.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct scheduled patrols at assigned client properties and surrounding areas Monitor buildings, parking lots, gates, and access points for unusual activity Help maintain a secure environment through visible patrol presence Identify trespassing, suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or unauthorized access Respond to incidents according to site procedures and company guidelines Prepare accurate activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation Maintain communication with supervisors or dispatch during shifts Follow all armed security procedures, post orders, and safety standards Operate patrol vehicles responsibly while complying with traffic laws Required QualificationsMust be at least 21 years old Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Ability to meet Colorado armed security requirements Reliable attendance and ability to work overnight weekend shifts consistently Strong observation and situational awareness skills Professional communication and report-writing ability Preferred ExperiencePrior patrol, security, military, or law enforcement-related experience Familiarity with overnight security operations Ability to remain self-directed during low-activity shifts Work EnvironmentOvernight patrol assignment involving both driving and foot patrol activity Combination of indoor and outdoor responsibilities depending on the property Independent work environment requiring attention to detail and sound judgment Extended periods of driving, walking, and standing may be required Benefits & SupportPart-time team members may be eligible for:Paid training Company-issued uniforms Colorado Paid Sick Leave Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Opportunities for additional shifts based on operational needs Equal Opportunity EmployerCitadel Security USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
