This includes validating and inputting production and injection data, performing preventative/predictive maintenance, reactive maintenance, major and minor repairs on equipment, reporting spills and leaks. Deliver natural gas to pipeline delivery point to meet customer requirements both internally and externally into plant. Candidates must be able to serve on call-outs including a rotational schedule including 3 other personnel.\nJob Duties:\nExperienced engine and compressor operator with a responsible attitude for personal safety and the safety of co-workers, contractors and the public\nExperience in the following: CAT, Waukesha, Cummins, Detroit engines and Ariiel, Ajax, Gemini and GE compressors.\nDeliver natural gas to pipeline delivery point to meet customer requirements both internally and externally into plant\nCommunicate with plant about production, issues or maintenance\nPerform diagnostics, responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of all facilities, pipeline, and equipment as needed\nAbility to tune and make adjustments with Caterpillar ET computer program\nExperience working with high speed reciprocating Ariel compressors\nTroubleshoot compressor valves, identify and repair compressor packing leaks\nWorking knowledge of emission systems, exhaust catalysts, and State emissions compliance\nExperience in troubleshooting centrifugal and positive displacement pumps\nCapable of basic troubleshooting of automation and electrical equipment. Also capable of repairing some equipment, such as actuators & level alarms and of changing out fuses, relays, etc\nStrong initiative and self-starter\nAbility to keep neat and accurate records\nMulti-task orientation with skills related to work prioritization\nExcellent Interpersonal Communications skills in a team environment\nAbility to implement cost effective solutions\nTechnical Skills related to math and analytical thinking\nDemonstrated strong commitment to safety to include personal safety, co-workers, contractors and the public.\nRequirements:\n2+ years of compressor operator experience; Highly knowledgeable with all troubleshooting, PM Maintenance, alignments for CAT and Waukesha engines a must\n3+ years of troubleshooting and maintenance of Ariel, Waukesha, or Caterpillar Compressor experience a must.\nWorking knowledge of oil and gas production operations required\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment as well as by self without direct supervision.\nCandidate must reside within a 50-mile range of Pecos, Texas.\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent.
