This role is integral to the entire system lifecycle, from initial conceptual design and documentation—including schematics, P&IDs, software code, and functional specifications—to final commissioning and handover.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word \"may\")\nServes as a key stakeholder in the design and implementation of software, hardware, instrumentation, DC distribution, and low/medium voltage AC distribution systems.\nActs as the Engineering liaison for the manufacturing of mobile power generation packages driven by gas turbines, reciprocating engines, and battery systems.\nAssists in commissioning newly manufactured packages to ensure electrical and control systems operate according to functional specifications.\nDevelop process specifications to formalize standardized tasks and strengthen quality control practices.\nCreates component specifications to assist the procurement of parts for new build manufacturing.\nEstablishes documentation outlining operational criteria for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).\nReviews electrical system developments to ensure designs comply with industry standards and legislation.\nSupports the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mobile power generation and battery storage packages.\nActs as the approval authority for final drawing release by performing redline/markup drawing reviews for electrical and controls components.\nContributes to the development of new products and the advancement of existing product lines.\nManages the development of comprehensive electrical and control system operation and maintenance manuals.\nServes as the Engineering liaison for procurement and supply chain regarding technical proposals and product offerings.\nEvaluates new product/service offerings from suppliers to build technical proposals.\nProvides onsite and remote troubleshooting support for deployed assets.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.\nPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.\nMust be at least 18 years of age or older.\nSuccessfully passes all applicable general pre employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre employment drug screening, pre employment fit tests, pre employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s) and pre employment Pulmonary Function Test (PFT).\nIn person, predictable attendance in Ponca City, OK.\nOvertime required based on business needs.\nProficiency in spoken English language.\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL\nRequired:\nElectrical Engineering degree from an accredited institution of higher education.\n5–7 years of previous Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) design experience.\nProficiency in reading and interpreting electrical/controls drawings and schematics.\nSpecific knowledge of power generation packages, specializing in electrical, instrumentation, and/or controls.\nPreferred:\nSpecialized knowledge of gas turbine and reciprocating engine control systems (e.g., Woodward, Allen Bradley, Siemens).\nKnowledge of GE or other industrial gas turbine related mechanical systems.\nQUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES\nProfessional communication of technical concepts to clients and executive management.\nTechnical design expertise in Low and Medium Voltage AC/DC distribution and instrumentation.\nHardware and software design for industrial control systems, including P&ID development.\nTechnical authorship of process specifications, FAT documentation, and maintenance manuals.\nTroubleshooting expertise for complex electrical and control systems both on site and remotely.\nCross functional collaboration within engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and field teams.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT\nThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Given these conditions, the employee is required to wear company mandated and company issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to safety hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection, welding cap (if applicable), designated safety gloves according to role, and must strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
