Your role will be vital in delivering high-quality behavioral health services to children and individuals with disabilities, fostering meaningful progress and positive outcomes.\n\n*Responsibilities*\n\n* Assist in conducting behavioral assessments and intake evaluations for new clients\n* Support the implementation of individualized ABA therapy protocols aligned with client needs\n* Collect, record, and analyze data related to client behaviors, skill acquisition, and progress\n* Help develop and modify skill acquisition programs in accordance with best practices in ABA\n* Support behavior intervention plans by providing consistent reinforcement and behavior support strategies\n* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure clarity and collaboration\n* Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations\n* Participate in team meetings, supervision sessions, and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills\n\n*Skills*\n\n* Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD)\n* Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), including skill acquisition programs and behavior intervention strategies\n* Strong data collection skills for tracking client progress and behavior patterns\n* Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards\n* Ability to work effectively with children in various settings while demonstrating patience and empathy\n* Experience supporting behavioral health initiatives, diagnostic evaluations, or special education environments is a plus\n* Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement\n\nThis paid internship is designed for individuals passionate about making a difference through behavioral health services.
