Your leadership will directly influence both staff success and quality of life for the individuals we serve.\n\nIn this role, you will:\n\nOversee the daily operations of one or more residential homes\n\nEnsure services align with Individual Support Plans (ISPs), Behavior Support Plans, and company policies\n\nMonitor the health, safety, and overall well-being of individuals served\n\nMaintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained home environment\n\nStaff Supervision & Development\n\nHire, train, supervise, and evaluate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)\n\nDevelop and manage staff schedules to ensure proper shift coverage\n\nProvide coaching, mentorship, and ongoing performance feedback\n\nAddress employee concerns and implement corrective action when necessary\n\nCompliance & Documentation\n\nEnsure full compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations\n\nMaintain accurate documentation including progress notes and incident reports\n\nParticipate in audits, licensing reviews, and inspections\n\nIndividual Advocacy & Support\n\nPromote person-centered practices that foster independence and community inclusion\n\nCommunicate effectively with families, guardians, and interdisciplinary teams\n\nAdvocate for the rights, dignity, and needs of individuals served\n\nAdministrative & Operational Responsibilities\n\nMonitor household budgets, expenses, and inventory\n\nCoordinate medical appointments, transportation, and activities\n\nParticipate in on-call rotation\n\nRespond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention\n\nWho You Are\nYou are a confident, steady leader who understands that strong homes start with strong supervision. You lead with integrity, communicate clearly, and hold people accountable — while still showing compassion and respect. You are organized, solution-focused, and committed to ensuring both staff and individuals receive the support they deserve.\n\nQualifications:\n\n2–3+ years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities\n\nPrior supervisory or leadership experience preferred\n\nStrong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop staffHighly organized with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities\n\nValid driver’s license\n\nCPR/First Aid/AED, Mandt, and Medication Administration certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)\n\nAbility to successfully complete required background checks and clearances\n\nSchedule, Work Environment & Physical Expectations\nThis is a full-time position that may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and participation in an on-call rotation. Program Supervisors are expected to provide after-hours support and respond to emergencies when necessary.\n\nThis role is based within residential group homes and requires active engagement in the home environment.
