Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICUThis is a 13-week contract position.Night 3x12-Hour Shift (19:00 - 07:00), including weekends.We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our NICU team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in providing respiratory care to infants in a Level 2 nursery and supporting high-risk deliveries. Responsibilities will include ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and airway management, as well as participation in emergency situations.Manage respiratory care in the NICU, including ventilator management and oxygen therapy.Assist in high-risk deliveries, including stabilization of infants and brief ventilator placement.Administer respiratory treatments and perform suctioning procedures.Conduct capillary and arterial blood gas assessments.Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions and patient care planning.Current RRT license in Arkansas.Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting with ER & ICU experience.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications preferred.Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.Experience with bedside PFTs and bronchoscopy preferred.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
