Primary responsibility will be assisting the Store\nManager (SM) in daily operations, sales, generating revenue for the location, and running the store in the Store Manager’s\nabsence.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nThe essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:\nSupporting Store Manager in achieving store revenue goals and assisting in managing sales and service staff.\nImplement and enforce all aspects of “Employee Handbook”.\nMeet all deadlines for daily, weekly, bi-monthly, monthly, and annually reports.\nManage and perform all daily processes that include trailer inspections, trailer sales, parts sales, service work,\ninventory control, parts purchases, vendor relations, special orders, and pricing.\nVerify and perform proper invoicing of all trailers, parts, and labor.\nEnsure that all required paperwork associated with each sale is submitted to the appropriate state agencies and\nInterstate Group departments, accurately and in a timely manner.\nEnsure a respectful, safe and productive workplace through your effective hiring, onboarding, training, counseling,\naccountability and other performance management support for all service and parts staff you supervise. Address poor\nperformance or behavior diligently and fairly.\nEnsure that all policies and procedures related to managing the facility’s keys are fully executed and enforced.\nWork strategically and collaboratively with other departments of the company.\nASM will back up the SM and their responsibilities in the SM absence. (see SM job description)\nMaintain time cards, ensure they are up-to-date with start and end times as well as appropriate breaks are scheduled.\nEnsure the store facility and grounds are maintained by cleaning and organizing the building, shop, and trailers, in\norder to promote safety, security, and a professional appearance.\nAttend and participate in all required team and company meetings.\nObtain state and city vehicle sales licenses, where required by law.\nEnsure that all policies and procedures related to managing the facility’s keys are fully executed and enforced.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nResponsible for generating leads in the local market.\nAbility to operate forklift and tractor. (Company certification required)\nAbility to operate power tools and welding equipment. In the absence of the Store Manager,\nthe ASM will be responsible to plan and promote the daily schedule, coordinate and manage the performance of employees\nincluding development and accountability.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements\nlisted in the essential duties and responsibilities section are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\nThe position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as six months to one year of related experience and/or\ntraining.\n\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nMust be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure\nmanuals. Also important is the ability to write routine reports and correspondence and to speak effectively with customers or\nemployees.
