The distributed team works closely with Clover finance and compliance business counterparts at region and global scale.\nAs a Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in producing quality, reliable, and scalable infrastructure to support our platform. We are looking for talented Sr Engineers to help us deploy and operate our next generation of billing software. Expect to contribute to all aspects of project design, development, and delivery with specific focus on the development of new features and tooling to support our product and operational teams.\nWhat you will do:\nWork closely with engineering to refine our SDLC and implement much of the workflow.\nCollaborate with QA for system level production scale, validation and qualification of all changes going into production.\nPerform automation using available tools and/or developing toolsets to help with operational best practices.\nCollaborate with Clover's SRE, SecOps, and production CloudOps teams to integrate systems and automate next generation billing platform deployment, operations, SRE tasks, customer service, data analytics/metric capture, and financial processes.\nMonitor, triage, and mitigate issues in our integration, stage, and production environments.\nEnsure critical operational requirements are designed into all new features.\nWhat you will need to have:\nBachelors degree in a science, engineering, or technical discipline.\nExperience working in a Java, REST, and microservice-based architectural environment, including handling failovers and resilience.\nSRE skills using common toolsets like Kubernetes, Jenkins, Grafana, and DataDog.\nScripting skills such as Z Shell and Python.\nExperience with Sonarqube.\nDeep knowledge of Cloud Patterns, architectures, best practices, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).\nStrong relational database experience, especially with MySQL.\nFamiliarity with Google Cloud Platform or another cloud service.\nWhat would be great to have:\nStrong data analysis skills to identify trends early and mitigate them before an issue arises.\nBuilding dashboards and experience with Snowflake\nExcellent communication skills needed to work with other teams and individuals, often under pressure to resolve issues.\nSalary Range\n$140,000.00 - $210,000.00\nThese pay ranges apply to employees in Sunnyvale, California.
