Apply Today!\nJob Summary and Qualifications\nAs the Coordinator of Lab Services, you will routinely participate in the supervisory and managerial duties of the laboratory as a whole, in conjunction with the Director of Laboratory. You will coordinate proficiency testing, order supplies, support and implement information system programs, maintain information system (LIS – laboratory information system). You will also be responsible for the oversight of lab processing, the phlebotomy team, neonatal screen reporting and other send-out testing and ensure smooth functioning and patient satisfaction in Express Services. You will be expected to complete Leadership Academy training within 2 years of being placed in this position.\nYou will maintain the processing manual and ensure processors perform duties according to procedures and policies\nYou will maintain tracking of send-out testing, including neonatal screens, but not limited to only these tests\nYou will ensure neonatal screens are collected properly and transported to the Texas Department of Health within 48 hours (including weekends)\nYou will schedule personnel for Express Testing\nYou will review patient satisfaction scores and create action plan(s)\nYou will assume overall responsibility for the Laboratory Information System including installation, training of all lab employees, and the building and maintenance of all files\nYou will coordinate and supervise technical activities for the laboratory\nExperience\n4 years previous experience as a supervisor of medical/laboratory personnel or department\nEducation\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nSt.David’s North Austin Medical Center is a multi-specialty hospital in Texas withmore than 360 beds.
