Support in designing and building workstations, supermarket racks, benches, trolleys etc. Familiar with and able to use Moonshine tools and machines effectively. Ensure good 5S in the work area. Implement identified Best practices timely. Prepare and upload completed kaizen projects in the BE on-line Systems. Maintain and update various indicators on the lean gallery and other defined locations. The experience we’re looking to add to our team:Typically requires 2 years of experience in related field. Use of the following tools may be required: Pipe cutters, drills, power tools, lean and six sigma tools, maintain catalogue of work stations, trolleys etc. Telephone skills, data entry, office software to include, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation. Demonstrates advanced technical skills which may be used to conduct on-the-job training and/or lead/guide other employees. Highly skilled with ability to move between projects. Demonstrates broad knowledge of functional techniques and has input to process improvement.Hands on shop floor support (80%) of the time withAssist with training operators and technicians on new processes, tools, and standardsParticipate in cross-functional problem-solving teams and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and safetyConducts time studiesUtilize 3D printers to support fixture design, go-no-go gages and tools.5S markings for common areasMaintain inventory of 5S suppliesAssist production with deploying layout changesAssist manufacturing engineers / production supervisors with making documents for process standards / one point lessonsCollaborate with production, manufacturing engineering and maintenance teams to implement process changes, standard work, and best practicesFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
