{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"dde2ce949ced9da19e124c08","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/dde2ce949ced9da19e124c08","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/dde2ce949ced9da19e124c08","title":"Program Analyst (Logistics)","description":"The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for a Program Analyst to support Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) and 4th Marine Logistics in New Orleans, LA.\r\nDESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES\r\nCollect and compile Lessons Learned from geographically dispersed Marine Reserve units across the country\r\nCoach and mentor units in After Action Report (AAR) production and best practices\r\nCapture mobilization and demobilization Lessons Learned to improve future activation cycles\r\nSupport Reserve training events, annual training periods, and drill weekends to observe and collect Lessons Learned\r\nCoordinate with 4th Marine Division units and Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) staff on Lessons Learned requirements and processes\r\nDevelop and maintain Lessons Learned collection tools and templates tailored to Reserve training cycles\r\nAnalyze Reserve-specific trends and challenges to identify systemic issues and opportunities for improvement\r\nFacilitate virtual and in-person Lessons Learned working groups with geographically dispersed units\r\nPrepare reports, briefings, and presentations on Reserve Lessons Learned for Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) leadership\r\nMaintain Lessons Learned databases and tracking systems specific to Reserve operations and training\r\nSupport integration of Reserve Lessons Learmed with active component lessons learned programs\r\nOther duties as assigned by Supervisor.\r\nREQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION\r\nBachelors Degree or higher. Education may be substituted with greater experience and/or certifications\r\nCompletion of Command and Staff College or equivalent Intermediate Level Education (ILE) preferred.\r\nDerivative Classification\r\nREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE\r\nAt least ten (10) years of experience serving in the US Military, with a strong preference for service in the Marine Corps. Twelve (12)+ years of experience required if substituting experience for education. Substituted experience may be a combination of military service, DoD civilian, or DoD contractor in similar role(s).\r\nExperience in a combat arms, logistics, supply, or operations MOS or serving in a battalion staff level position.\r\nPrior experience conducting in-depth research and complete and definitive analysis, documenting lessons learned, developing and writing military quality reports to include situational reports, developing planning documents and proposals, and creating presentations.\r\nExperience developing lessons learned questionaires and conducting interviews, or similar types of documentation and analysis.\r\nAbility to communicate and interface with Military leaders and commanders at all levels.\r\nAbility to work independently and proactively, build rapport with end users, customers, and unit leaders in order to develop effective working relationships\r\nStrong verbal and written communication and presentation skills and strong analytical skills. Strong Microsoft Office, 365, and SharePoint skills.\r\nPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE\r\nAbility to adapt to changing working environments and operational tempos\r\nAdvanced understanding of military tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP)\r\nCertified Knowledge Manager (CKM), Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals.\r\nREQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE\r\nMust be a U.S. Citizen\r\nMust have an active Secret clearance.\r\nEmployees enjoy competitive salaries.
