This role is essential for supporting various tasks across our operation, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.\nDuties\nAn Apprentice Electrician assists licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while learning the trade through supervised on-the-job training.\nAssist with the installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, outlets, switches, and lighting systems.\nMeasure, cut, bend, and install electrical conduit (EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit).\nPull, route, and terminate electrical cables and wiring.\nRead and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and specifications.\nHelp troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and systems.\nInstall electrical panels, breakers, transformers, and other components under supervision.\nTest electrical circuits and equipment using meters and testing devices.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.\nLoad, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment.\nFollow the National Electrical Code (NEC), local building codes, and company safety procedures.\nUse hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively.\nDig trenches, drill holes, and perform other physical labor as needed for installations.\nCommunicate with supervisors and team members regarding project progress\nOperate basic hand tools and equipment as needed for various electrical tasks.\nCollaborate with team members and Journeymen Electricians to complete projects on time and according to specifications.\nPerform physical labor such as lifting, digging, and moving materials as required.\nMaintain cleanliness and organization of work areas throughout the day.\nQualifications\nPrevious experience in electrical industrial construction-related fields is preferred but not mandatory.\nAbility to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.\nExcellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.\nWillingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.\nMust be reliable, punctual, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety practices.
