This position can be based out of either our Dallas office or in Austin in a job-site trailer.\nMust have: Candidates with a tenured background in ground-up, stick & brick multi-family apartment experience\nPrimary Responsibilities\nManage the field and project team successfully and collaboratively.\nEstablish and maintain positive and effective relationships with clients, Construction Managers, project team, consultants/architect/engineers, subcontractors, adjacent community, trade unions, and governmental agencies.\nActively participate in project buy-out and formalizing subcontractors.\nReview all project documents, including project submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings, for completeness and accuracy.\nCollaborate with the Preconstruction department to write and ensure execution of all subcontracts and purchase orders.\nAssist Superintendent with initial project set-up including site logistics.\nCreate and enforce a site-specific emergency action plan for assigned projects in collaboration with the Superintendent.\nResponsible for managing project financials, billings, and cost procedures.\nResponsible for the financial oversight of field labor.\nConduct team meetings, owner/architect meetings, and safety audits presenting job cost, scheduling updates and project status reports at regular intervals.\nManage project closeout.\nOther related duties as assigned or needed.\nQualifications\nDegree in Construction Management or related field\n4+ years of experience in the construction industry.\nPast work should include multiple multi-family projects in a Project Management capacity\nProject experience should include projects greater than $20M\nCandidates must have a solid understanding of the construction industry, job site safety requirements, contract management, planning and scheduling, budgets, building products, and relevant technology. This position requires a high level of fluency reading plans, specifications, and related project documents.
