Clinical Faculty, Open Rank - Diagnostic Radiology, Abdominal Imaging

Position: Full‑time faculty position in the clinical educator track in the Division of Abdominal Imaging, Department of Diagnostic Radiology, University of Miami Health System. Job Functions Active clinical practice in both outpatient and inpatient settings Participation in the advancement and education of diagnostic radiology medical students, residents, and fellows Participation in the development and management of new and ongoing clinical research Provide clinical imaging services to interpret X‑rays, CT, MRI, and ultrasound examinations and perform some non‑invasive fluoroscopic procedures Teaching residents, fellows, and medical students, including journal club and weekly multidisciplinary conference Supervise the performance of technical personnel Be part of the on‑call radiology schedule Exercise quality assurance as related to the practice of general radiology and abdominal imaging Provide abdominal imaging consultation as requested Staff off‑site outpatient imaging sites as requested by the division director or Chair Assume administrative responsibilities related to the practice of abdominal radiology Participate in teaching activities related to general radiology in diagnostic radiology and integrated diagnostic radiology/interventional radiology residency programs, abdominal imaging fellowship program, medical student education program, radiologic technologist educational programs, continuing medical education programs Serve on departmental and university committees as requested by the Chair Education Medical degree Diagnostic radiology residency Body imaging fellowship Certification and Licensing AIR Certified or Board Eligible Florida Medical License or Eligible Experience Completed at least one year of dedicated subspecialty fellowship training in abdominal radiology Prior experience in a university faculty setting preferred but not required Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes Ability to interpret X‑rays, CT, MRI, and ultrasound examinations and perform non‑invasive fluoroscopic procedures This list of duties and responsibilities is not all‑inclusive and may be expanded as necessary.
