This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical backgroundespecially those with crane experience, diesel mechanic skills, electrical systems knowledge, or CAN Bus diagnostic experience.\r\nThe QC Inspector ensures that every vehicle and assembly leaving our facility meets the highest standards of safety, reliability, and craftsmanship. You'll work closely with production, sales operations, and leadership to uphold quality expectations and support continuous improvement.\r\nPrimary (Essential) Duties:\r\nInspect, test, and measure materials, components, and completed products to verify compliance with specifications, safety standards, and customer expectations.\r\nUtilize Record360 and other digital tools to complete accurate, timely inspection reports.\r\nVerify that assembly teams complete corrective actions identified during QC review.\r\nMonitor assembly processes to ensure adherence to production and quality standards.\r\nRecommend process adjustments or improvements after review with supervisors.\r\nApply relevant industry codes and regulations, including OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI, and others.\r\nAssist with chassis check-in and documentation using internal software systems.\r\nPreferred Technical Experience:\r\nCandidates with any of the following will stand out immediately:\r\nCrane operation ,crane assembly , oroverhead crane inspection experience\r\nDiesel mechanic background , including troubleshooting and repair\r\nElectrical System Knowledge , including wiring, schematics, and diagnostics\r\nCAN Bus diagnostic or troubleshooting experience\r\nHydraulic and pneumatic system familiarity\r\nKnowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:\r\nExcellent attendance and ability to work overtime.\r\nEffective communication skills verbally and through email.\r\nExperience operating forklifts.\r\nSelf-motivated with a strong work ethic.\r\nStrong orientation towards cleanliness, safety, and quality.\r\nAbility to lift to 75 lbs. on a regular basis.\r\nPre-employment drug screen required.\r\nKnowledgeable with OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI, MIOSHA, Part 18 and 20 standards and regulations for overhead cranes and hoisting systems.\r\nExperience/Education Requirements:\r\nValid Driver's License (CDL a Plus)\r\nStrong mechanical knowledge.\r\nMust have basic tools\r\nGood eye for all aspects of quality.\r\nCrane certification a plus.\r\nHydraulic and air system experience.\r\nWorking Conditions, Travel/Schedule Expectations and Physical Demands:\r\nTraditional work schedule includes occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.\r\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently stands and reaches with hands and arms and performs repetitive tasks. The employee is frequently required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee may regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and infrequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
