The role is focused on addressing challenges with the shipment of a flexible containment solution for medical vaccines. The primary issue is damage during the packaging and shipping process, and the project aims to requalify shipping components and improve packaging to prevent damage.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\n\r\nConduct root cause analysis and remediate failure nodes.\r\nUpdate FMEA protocols and implement design improvements.\r\nWrite protocols, conduct testing, and perform root cause analysis.\r\nConduct risk analysis and provide recommendations on design improvements.\r\nPerform ISG1 vibration tests using an in-house vibration table.\r\nWork on prototype and pre-prototype improvements.\r\nDevelop packaging processes and update packaging specifications.\r\nCreate customer-facing unpackaging instructions.\r\nBuild physical test samples and conduct manufacturing trials.\r\n\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\nEducation: A bachelor's degree in engineering is required.\r\nExperience: Experience with packaging, particularly for medical devices, is required.
