They thrive in collaborative environments, enjoy solving complex technical challenges, and leverage modern engineering practices—including AI-assisted development—to improve productivity while maintaining high standards for quality, security, testing, and operational readiness.\r\nResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and operate Merino platform capabilities supporting OCI-scale CI/CD, change management, and deployment orchestration.\r\nBuild reliable, scalable distributed services that improve workflow automation, deployment safety, observability, and developer experience.\r\nImplement high-quality software across the full development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, monitoring, production support, and continuous improvement.\r\nDevelop integrations across build systems, release management, approvals, rollback, and deployment workflows.\r\nParticipate in architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, debugging, and technical planning.\r\nCollaborate with engineering teams to deliver robust platform capabilities that accelerate OCI software delivery.\r\nApply AI-assisted engineering practices and automation responsibly to improve development efficiency while maintaining production-quality standards.\r\nTroubleshoots and resolves moderately complex issues related to application programming interface (API) functionality and integration.\r\nPractices and Standards Compliance - Security and Compliance:\r\nCollaborates with the team to establish and follow development practices and coding standards.\r\nExercises judgment and discretion to ensure code quality and adherence to broad acceptance criteria during development.\r\nKeeps up to date with industry best practices and applies them to software development processes.\r\nImplements secure coding practices to prevent security vulnerabilities.\r\nDevelopment Operations - System Maintenance:\r\nPerforms periodic maintenance and testing operations for systems that require upgrading or patching (e.g., for critical vulnerabilities).\r\nExercises judgment and discretion to drive improvements, ensure automation, testing, and debugging of systems to ensure service/product availability, health, support, and reliability.\r\nCore Responsibilities\r\nPlanning & Execution:\r\nIndependently manages work, monitoring timelines and deliverables to ensure projects or initiatives stay on track and meet requirements.
