With tenure and strong performance an employee may earn up to a maximum of $27.40 per hour.\n\nJob Summary:\nOur Escrow Processor is responsible for various steps within the real estate closing process. These duties include but are not limited to initial set up, processing, title clearing and funding of files as assigned. S/He works with realtors, buyers, sellers, lenders, loan officers, and attorneys to acquire, analyze, and organize all necessary documents needed to process the closing. They create an amazing customer experience for each file assigned to them, including timely and accurate data entry and customer communications.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nCommunicate and assist all parties to create an amazing customer experience.\nReceive and review purchase contracts and lender requests for initial set up within production system\nSend out initial informational requests.\nReceive and enter provided information into software system\nEnter fees, prepare and provide estimated closing disclosure and settlement statements\nReview title report to determine and acquire necessary documentation to clear title\nOrder all payoffs and documentation to clear title defects\nAccurately disburse all funds according to escrow and lender instructions\nAssist all others within processing team as needed\nCover the front desk when necessary\nMaintains procedures to ensure a constant, orderly, and effective workflow\nMaintains utmost confidentiality and professionalism.\nMaintains information security\nEngage and promote company culture\nParticipates in department functions\nPerforms any other duties delegated by management\nAdheres to company policies and guidelines\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nA High School diploma or equivalent\nOne year of work experience in escrow processing and/or banking related field.\nUnderstanding of general office procedures and customer service.\nOne year of professional experience with software applications and or demonstrates competency and is knowledgeable in using technology.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nOne year of work experience in Escrow processing, title clearing, opening orders, and opening documents.\nAbility to speak, read and write fluently in English and Spanish.\nNotary public status\n\nKnowledge and Responsibilities:\n\nUnderstands general office processes and procedures\nFamiliar with pay off per diems, prorations, interest, and the like\nProficient with Microsoft Office, web navigation and specialized title software\nOutstanding organizational and time management skills\nExcellent and appropriate verbal and written communication\nSkills:\nAdaptability: adapts to new, different, or changing requirements\nAttentive to details\nBusiness fundamentals: maintains privacy and confidentiality of company information, as well as that of customers and co-workers\nCuriosity: Asks “What if,” finds efficiencies, considers new methods and solutions\nCritical thinking: uses logical thought processes to analyze and draw conclusions\nCommunication: maintains open lines of communication with others\nCustomer focused: is pleasant, courteous, and professional when dealing with internal and external customers or clients\nDecision maker: applies critical thinking skills to solve problems\nDependable and reliable: displays responsible behaviors at work\nDrive: personally and professionally driven for improvement or success\nEmotional Strength: manage interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically\nEffective Intelligence: uses capabilities effectively to accomplish tasks successfully\nHumility: ability to accept other people and ideas as having equal or better merit\nInitiative: demonstrates a willingness to work and seeks out new work challenges\nIntegrity: treats others with honesty, fairness, and respect\nMathematics: uses mathematics to solve problems\nPlanning and organization: plan and prioritize work to manage time effectively and accomplish assigned tasks\nProblem solving: applies critical thinking skills to solve problems by generating, evaluating, and implementing solutions\nProficient in English\nProfessional: maintains a professional demeanor at work\nReading: reads and comprehends documents ranging from simple and straightforward, to more complex and detailed;
