You will build and maintain reliable data models within Snowflake with dbt, and improve data quality and observability. Partner with analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to deliver trusted, well-documented datasets that power analytics and products.\r\nPosition Responsibilities\r\nBuild, test, and document Snowflake data models and business logic in dbt\r\nApply and improve data quality, testing, observability, and lineage standards\r\nCollaborate with cross-functional partners to define data contracts and interfaces\r\nContribute to Capital Rx's modular data platform and client-specific data configurations\r\nParticipate in design reviews; propose scalable, maintainable patterns\r\nMonitor pipeline health, troubleshoot incidents, and drive root-cause fixes\r\nOptimize cost and performance of jobs, storage, and queries with guidance\r\nWrite clear documentation and support knowledge sharing\r\nAdhere to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct, including reporting of noncompliance\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\n3+ years in data engineering, software engineering, or related field\r\nStrong SQL and Python; solid understanding of ETL/ELT and dimensional/data vault modeling\r\nHands-on dbt experience (models, tests, documentation, deployments)\r\nExperience with orchestration (Dagster or Airflow) and scheduling best practices\r\nFamiliarity with Spark/Databricks and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred)\r\nCI/CD for data (Git-based workflows, environments), and basic IaC familiarity\r\nData observability and testing (dbt tests, Great Expectations/Soda, lineage tools)\r\nUnderstanding of security, governance, and privacy for PII/PHI (HIPAA awareness)\r\nEffective communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders\r\nBonus: Exposure to healthcare data (claims, eligibility, provider directories)\r\nPerformance tuning in Snowflake (warehouse sizing, clustering, caching)\r\nSalary Range\r\n$120,000 — $140,000 USD\r\nEqual Opportunity Employment\r\nCapital Rx values a diverse workplace and celebrates the diversity that each employee brings to the table.
