Judgment is required in solving problems and making routine recommendations. Regularly interacts with high level contacts.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)\n\nPerforms a variety of departmentally specific projects and tasks, which require the use of independent judgment, initiative, and tact to determine the approach or action to take in non-routine situations.\nDeals with matters of highest confidentiality.\nDevelops complex spreadsheets, graphs, presentation materials, statistical reports and other related documents that may require a high level of research, analysis and independent judgment.\nDevelops, composes and types routine and non-routine correspondence regularly.\nWorks with buyers and other supply chain staff to consolidate and provide accurate information in some communication with vendor base.\nWorks with receiving department to work resolution and communication of errors and tracking of the information as required to resolve.\nSupports creation and management of metric data as required by the supply chain team.\nFacilitates other supply chain administrative support for domestic facilities.\n\nOTHER FUNCTIONS:\n\nMaybe asked to assist in other duties to ensure production needs are met in a timely manner.\nPerforms other duties when required that are outside of normal job duties.\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\n\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three to four years of progressive office experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nAbility to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.\nAbility to write routine and non-routine reports and correspondence.\nAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to managers, customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.\nAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.\nAbility to apply concepts of basic algebra and statistics.\nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.\nAdvanced skills with computer and peripheral equipment.\nAdvanced ability to use database, word processing, spreadsheet, graphing and other software as specific to the department.\nOperates copy machine, fax machine, scanner, telephone, voice mail, and FedEx Powership.\nExercises above-average verbal and written communication skills, is highly organized, and pays great attention to detail.\nAbility to handle multiple projects and maintain a high degree of responsibility and confidentiality at all times.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\n\nSome College\nExperience in contract manufacturing\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
