As a Retail Supervisor, you will be the premier “SUGARTAINER” in charge of delivering a SWEET customer experience while promoting our brand. This position is a steppingstone towards a management role within IT’SUGAR. The Supervisor will be a shift leader in charge of overseeing all store functions and team members.\nWhat you’ll do? IT’S Exciting!\nLaugh out loud, dance to the music, and provide a humorous escape to our customers while you\nAct as a Leader on Duty:\nOversees the daily operation of the store and ensures that sales objectives are met.\nEvaluates daily operations on an ongoing basis and makes recommendations/initiates action to enhance productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability.\nFosters a productive work environment through consistent coaching and training of Sales Associates.\nDemonstrates a positive, enthusiastic and brand proud attitude.\nPromotes safety for both our customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines.\nPartners with store manager to identify ongoing challenges and present solutions.\nDeliver Exceptional Customer Service:\nFollow our customer engagement model SUGARTAINMENT by setting the stage, welcoming, engaging, entertaining and thanking the customer.\nAssist customers with requests and inquiries.\nEnsure salesfloor is clean and organized while maintaining store visual standards.\nOperate POS/ register to properly cash out all customers.\nAchieve Sales Goals:\nFollows through on customer requests for specific items and suggests additional products.\nUse selling skills by explaining benefits, features, prices, quality, value, and other product information.\nSupport Store Operations\nMaintains store cash handling records, reports, and opening and closing procedures.\nEnsures visual standards are appropriate and support the brand image.\nMerchandises displays to visual guidelines.\nPlan, coordinate, and set up special events and promotions.\nMaintain communication with associates regarding product recommendations to increase sales/inventory.\nUnderstands all Loss Prevention (LP) policies and procedures and communicates LP issues with the Store Manager.\nOperational Responsibilities include, but are not limited to salesfloor/backroom/restroom maintenance, cleaning, mopping, etc.\nEmbody our Core Values:\nRepresent our core values: IT’S being Positive, Playful, Present and a Difference Maker.\nDisplay enthusiasm and cheerfulness while working collaboratively in a team environment.\nRequirements:\nWhat you need to join the fun:\nMust be 18 years of age or older.\nEducation: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.\nYears of Experience: 2 years of retail experience and at least 1 year of supervisor experience preferred.\nWilling to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.\nAble and willing to work 32-40 hours a week.\nMust be able to use a POS/cash register.\nAble to stand and walk for long periods of time; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.\nAble to independently lift/move up to 25 lbs.
