This is a 12 month contract opportunity.\n\nThis is a lab-based role focused on downstream bioprocess purification. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific understanding of purification operations for large complex molecules, wet chemistry laboratory skills, and experience with tangential flow filtration processing.\n\nRequirements:\n\nBS in Science, Engineering, or related field is heavily preferred\nExperience working with tangential flow filtration processing – microfiltration/ultrafiltration\nComfortable in a lab environment\nScientific understanding of downstream bioprocess purification processes\nScientific understanding of purification operations of large complex molecules\nTechnical understanding of bioprocess scaling principles\nWet chemistry laboratory skills (pipetting, buffer preparation, filtration, dilution, stoichiometry)\nProficiency with technical writing and laboratory records (laboratory notebooks, chemical inventory, data management)\nExcellent collaborative and team-working skills\nStrong technical problem-solving abilities, data interpretation and presentation competence\n\nDesired skills:\n\nExperience working with adjuvant and LNP processing is a plus\nExperience working with analytical instrumentation (plate readers, densitometers, thermocyclers, cIEF, UV/Vis spectrophotometers, HPLC/ UPLC systems)\nExperience with laboratory operations\nExperience working in an industry environment\nExperience conducting laboratory scale process characterization studies\nExperience troubleshooting technical issues (experimental, equipment-related issues)\nExperience in method development and method transfer\nExperience working in GMP and GLP environments\n\nPay range: up to $43.49 per hour\n\nOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.\n\nIf you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, apply today!\n\nAptask Global Workforce (AGW)\n\nApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is a certified Minority and Veteran workforce solutions company.
