{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"dd8b5bc6d16261cfeb69bb0c","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/dd8b5bc6d16261cfeb69bb0c","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/dd8b5bc6d16261cfeb69bb0c","title":"Wire Harness Assembler","description":"Job Description\n\nWanco Inc. is seeking a Wire Harness Assembler in our Aurora, CO production facility.\r\nSummary:\r\nPerform wire harness assembly duties as needed by the company and under the direction of the Production Manager, and the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.\r\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\r\n· Assemble wire harnesses for all products.\r\n· Quality control of wire harnesses\r\n· Soldering\r\n· Crimping, cutting and stripping wires\r\n· Safe use of wire harness equipment\r\n· Perform related duties and responsibilities as directed by the department supervisor/manager.\r\n· Perform good housekeeping of the work area and equipment and report irregularitiesaffecting the operations to management.\r\nREQUIREMENTS OR QUALIFICATIONS:\r\n· Able to work in a fast-paced work environment.\r\n· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.\r\n· Ability to communicate in English.\r\n· Ability to read wiring diagrams and interpret drawings\r\n· Experience with soldering\r\n· Experience in crimping, cutting and stripping wires\r\n· Basic computer skills\r\n· Knowledge and ability to use WINDOWS-based programs.\r\n· 2 years experience in wiring harnesses required.\r\n· Various hand tools associated with wire harness assembly operations.\r\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\r\nMobility to work in a large factory setting with walking, pushing, lifting, standing, and sitting, while maintaining PPE requirements.\r\nShift: M-F 10 hours daily (6:00 am-4:30 pm), with frequent Saturday work.\r\nReporting:This position reports to the Sub-Assembly Supervisor and doesn’t have direct reports.\r\nSalary Range:$20.00-$22.00 per hour based on qualifications.\r\nBenefits: Insurance (Medical, Dental, Life, 401k).
