Recast is a rapidly growing software company with its solution being used by thousands of enterprise organizations in more than 125 countries, impacting millions of devices and (more importantly) the people who use them.\n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\nDesign, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for both frontend and backend components.\nContribute to the development of software projects from conception through deployment, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.\nParticipate and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and best practices.\nParticipate in project planning sessions to understand requirements, define technical solutions, and set realistic timelines.\nBreak down complex tasks into manageable chunks and prioritize them effectively to meet deadlines.\nWork closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality products.\nCommunicate technical concepts and project progress to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.\nProvide guidance, mentorship, and training to junior and mid-level developers to foster their growth and development.\nPromote knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team through code reviews, workshops, and pair programming.\nMonitor, optimize, and maintain existing systems for performance, scalability, and security.\nDiagnose and fix complex bugs and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.\nImplement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the development and deployment process.\nImplement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards to protect sensitive data.\nRegularly perform code audits to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.\nStay updated with emerging technologies and assess their applicability to the organization's needs.\nIdentify opportunities to improve development processes, tools, and methodologies for increased efficiency and quality.\nCreate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed features and systems.\nCollect and incorporate user feedback to enhance the functionality and usability of applications.\nProvide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal teams and external users as needed.\n\nWhat You've Done:\n\n5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering scalable, high-quality software applications.\nStrong independent analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Able to effectively communicate with peers and stakeholders.\nAbility to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.\nExpertise in server-side languages such as Asp.Net Core, .Net Core, and C#.\n3+ years of experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server), including knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques.\nExpertise in Entity Framework\nExperience designing and implementing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.\nEfficiency with CI/CD pipelines (Yaml).\nExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.\n\nWhat Stands Out:\n\nProficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks/libraries such as Blazor, WPF, MVVM, MVC, jsand Telerik Controls.\nExpertise in WiX, Signal R, WMI Providers, PowerShell.\nKnowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing frameworks and practices.
