The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines for our customers. The Data Engineer will develop automated pipelines for a variety of data types and datasets.\nBasic Qualifications:\nWork with data to solve business problems, building and maintaining the infrastructure to answer questions and improve processes\nHelp streamline our data science workflows, adding value to our product offering and building out our customer lifecycle and retention models\nWork closely with the data science and business intelligence teams to develop data models and pipelines for research, reporting, and machine learning\nBe an advocate for best practices and continued learning\nWork closely with our data science to help build complex algorithms that provide unique insights into our data\nUse agile software development processes to iteratively make improvements to our back-end systems\nModel front-end and back-end data sources to help draw a more comprehensive picture of user flows throughout our system and enable powerful data analysis\nBuild data pipelines that clean, transform and aggregate data from disparate sources\nDevelop models that can be used to make predictions and answer questions for the overall business\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or equivalent\n3+ years of experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization/exploration tools\nFamiliarity with the AWS ecosystem specifically RedShift and RDS\nCommunication skills, especially explaining technical concepts to non-technical business leaders\nExperience building or maintaining ETL processes\nSquare Peg Technologies Company Information\nSquare Peg Technologies is a boutique technology consulting firm that specializes in data solutions using the latest technologies in analytics, data science, data engineering, and data management.
