This position assists with coordinating family-centered activities designed to promote and strengthen protective factors for client families.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAccurately enter and maintain data related to client demographics, services provided, outcomes, billing, and program reports.\nAssist in developing and maintaining effective data tracking systems with a high level of attention to detail; coordinate, track, and manage all program data.\nMaintain program files in strict compliance with confidentiality standards.\nSupport supervisors with contract compliance and quality assurance activities (e.g., peer reviews, quality assurance meetings, chart audits).\nPerform general office duties such as typing, filing, answering phones, reviewing emails and correspondence, and reception tasks.\nDesign computer-generated materials (e.g., brochures, pamphlets, flyers).\nAssist with coordinating community engagement and outreach activities.\nOrganize family-centered activities to promote and strengthen protective factors.\nAttend agency, program, and collaborative meetings.\nPerform related duties as assigned.*\n*Related duties as required are duties that may not be specifically listed in the class specification or position description but are within the general occupational series and responsibility level typically associated with the employee’s class of work.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:\nStrong interpersonal and customer service skills with professional boundaries.\nAbility to work collaboratively with supervisors, colleagues, clients, and community stakeholders.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional language and strong spelling/grammar (Spanish proficiency highly desirable).\nAbility to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultures and underserved populations.\nExceptional time management and organizational skills; high attention to detail and accuracy.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and general technology applications.\nBasic math and accounting skills.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and projects independently with sound judgment and initiative.\nWillingness to work outside regular hours as needed (including evenings and some weekends).\nStrong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.\nCommitment to maintaining confidentiality.\nKnowledge of Strengthening Families Protective Factors (highly desirable).\nFamiliarity with the DCFS Core Practice Model (highly desirable).\nAbility to accept and apply constructive feedback.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nAny combination of experience and education likely to provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities:\nAssociate degree or higher preferred; high school diploma or equivalent with extensive experience accepted.\nTwo to three years of clerical experience; at least one year as an administrative assistant or office manager with responsibilities including report preparation, correspondence, spreadsheets, file maintenance, and data entry.\nExperience working with underserved and unserved populations (e.g., people of color, LGBTQ+ community, male survivors, tribal populations) highly desirable.\nExperience with community engagement and outreach strategies a plus.\nLICENSING/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:\nOccasional driving is required.
