Posses a vast product knowledge of hardware related products along with a willingness to learn.\nExperience: Sales and marketing experience with retail programs, establishing relationships and working with customers\nPrevious experience in a retail environment either in marketing, sales, or back office.\nSkills/Knowledge: Knowledge of retail computer systems, MS Word and Excel a plus.\nA commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction\nSolid team player with excellent interpersonal skills.\nExcellent communication skills, exceptional organizational ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.\nAbility and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.\nPhysical Requirements\nThe minimum physical requirements for this position include:\nMust be able to lift 40 pounds frequently to load and unload customer orders.\nAbility to stand for an extended period of time\nMove and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and perform all functions as set forth.\nJob responsibilities may change based on the needs of the business.\nBenefits\nPaid time off\nEmployee discount\nSimple IRA\nSupplemental health insurance\nNotice to Applicant about this Employer: You are applying for a job with an independently owned and operated cooperative member of Ace Hardware Corporation, who owns and operates this Ace Hardware retail store location.
