Each summer, a select group of highly motivated college students joins our 10-to-12-week internship program. Along the way, you'll be encouraged to think creatively, act courageously, work collaboratively, and strive for excellence. Guided by our values, you'll be challenged, supported, and empowered to grow while discovering how you can make a lasting impact at Williams.Our engineering internships will be in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Houston, Texas, Salt Lake City, Utah or at one of our field locations. A $2,500 housing stipend will be provided; additional relocation will also be given for those moving more than 50 miles from their home and school address.Basic Qualifications:Required: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in chemical, civil, electrical, environmental, energy, financial, mechanical or petroleum engineering or computer science with a graduation date of December 2027 or beyondThis position is not eligible for sponsorship, OPT or CPTMust possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving recordWillingness and ability to relocate for the summer to our engineering internship locationsWhat You'll Do:Develops understanding of Williams core business and operating areasGathers and analyzes real-time data to identify efficiencies and ensures proper asset maintenanceBuilds credibility with customers by contributing to major projects and capital expansionsCollaborates with various teams across operating areas and fields to achieve enterprise goalsFollows and supports Williams ValuesWork schedule is generally Monday-Friday 40 hours/week; hybrid schedule may be availableOther duties as assignedSuggested Skills:Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priorityAbility to work independently, within a team and within a matrix environmentOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsProblem solving, analytical and creative thinking skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skillsLeadership experienceIntellectual curiosityOur Internship Offers:An impactful project aligned to your skills and interestsCollaboration opportunities with senior leadershipSocial, networking, and community outreach eventsLearning and development sessions to enhance both technical and interpersonal skillsOpportunity to learn about various departments and career pathsAn in-depth look at our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)Pay:Pay is a nonnegotiable, hourly rate that is determined by graduation date:Master's Program = $47.60Fall 2027 - Spring 2028= $43.30Summer 2028, Fall 2028, and Spring 2029= $38.50Summer 2029 and beyond= $33.70We also offer accrued sick pay, medical and 401(k) benefits., This position will be responsible for assisting technical services and operations in engineering, compression, measurement, controls, pipeline integrity, land and environmental related work.
