The incumbent will lead efforts to analyze and reduce process variation, develop preventive controls and ensure quality standards are upheld. Additionally, the Quality & Process Control Engineer will lead/assist in quality planning activities, cost reduction initiatives and capital projects.\nProcess Control Engineering 50%\n· Design and implement processes controls to improve efficiencies, maintain acceptable levels of quality and reduce safety risks.\n· Conduct process and product validation activities to ensure outputs meet requirements.\n· Provide hands-on assistance to Manufacturing personnel on the production floor to identify and understand opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.\n· Troubleshoot processing problems for areas of responsibility, and implement control & reaction procedures for operators. Define and standardize process targets and tolerances.\n· Train and develop Manufacturing facility talent in new product process tooling and equipment.\n· Data collection, analysis and presentation of results/recommendations to leadership team and R&D.\n· Identify and Deliver cost reduction initiatives.\n· Maintain high visibility on the production floor and recognize production operators as customers of work performed by engineering.\nQuality Assurance & Risk Management 50%\n· Contribute to the design and lead the implementation of the quality management system at the facility.\n· Proactively plan, control and assure product and process quality in accordance with established quality principles to eliminate potential sources of failure. This includes planning processes, material control, acceptance sampling and measurement systems.\n· Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing and Product Management to ensure quality standards are integrated into new products and processes.\n· helvetica, sans-serif;\">Lead the Change Management process at the facility to identify, prioritize and mitigate risks related to planned changes.\n· Define and conduct raw material, product and process audits to ensure finished goods conform to specified requirements.\n· Create and maintain local documentation of standard work, such as quality manuals, procedures and work instructions\nWhat do you bring?\n· Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering with minimum of 3 years of quality or engineering experience in a manufacturing environment through permanent employment or internship(s).\n· Must possess the ability to; (1) understand new concepts quickly; (2) determine the appropriate approach; (3) organize, schedule and coordinate work; and (4) communicate results or progress effectively.\n· Experience in process engineering and leading project teams in a fast paced manufacturing environment.\n· Fundamental understanding of quality philosophies, principles, systems, methods, tools, standards, organizational and team dynamics, customer expectations and satisfaction, supplier relations and performance, leadership, training, interpersonal relationships, improvement systems and professional ethics.\n· Demonstrated experience and advanced knowledge of data collection systems and data analysis.\n· Basic understanding of the audit process including types of audits, planning, preparation, execution, reporting results and follow-up.\n· Ability to develop and implement quality programs, including tracking, analyzing, reporting and problem solving.\n· A thorough understanding of problem-solving and quality improvement tools and techniques.\n· Green Belt/Black Belt strongly preferred.\n· Strong written and verbal communication skills.\n· Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project and PowerPoint\nWhat are our perks?\nWe provide unique options to fit your unique lives!
