LPN/LVN - Acute Care (Night Shift)This is a 13-week contract position.Night shift, 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30). Floating may be required based on facility needs. Every other weekend and holiday commitment is expected.As an LPN/LVN in acute care, you will play a crucial role in patient care. Your responsibilities include medication administration, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with healthcare teams to provide high-quality care. You will be required to manage dysrhythmias, handle peripheral line care, and adhere to isolation precautions.Medication AdministrationMonitoring and managing dysrhythmiasUtilization of Rapid Response/Code teamsPeripheral Line Care and ManagementOxygen administration and non-invasive airway managementPatient assessment and communication with RNs/MDsCompliance with isolation precautions and PPEVital sign monitoring of various patient age groupsMinimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience requiredCurrent NY State License as an LPN/LVNBLS certification8 hours of stroke education is mandatoryAt ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
