This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose failures and perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and structural systemsPerform tank service and repairInstall and repair trailer suspension systemsInspect, service, and repair air brake systemsConduct DOT inspections in compliance with HM183 and hazmat standardsEnsure all repairs meet safety and regulatory requirementsMaintain detailed inspection and repair documentationFollow all OSHA safety proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work environmentTIG welding (aluminum, stainless, or carbon) experience is a plus but not required.QualificationsDOT inspection certification required2 years of tank trailer repair experience preferredStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsExperience working with air brake systemsSuspension repair and installation experienceAbility to read and understand repair documentation and compliance standardsExperience in an industrial or heavy equipment environmentPhysical RequirementsRegularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbsAbility to enter and exit tank trailer manholesAbility to work in confined spacesAbility to stand, bend, kneel, and work in physically demanding conditionsCareer Growth & DevelopmentAt DCI, we believe in investing in our mechanics.Skill-based pay increases reviewed every 6 monthsOngoing hands-on trainingResources to become a National Board ASME Certified WelderTool purchase programClear paths for advancement within a global organizationDCI BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with generous employer matchPaid time off, including 10 paid holidaysOptional HSA & FSALife insuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramParental leaveTuition reimbursementEffective and proven safety program
