This role will support the Transition Manager and sales team by providing technical expertise during demos, customer engagements, and solution development. The ideal candidate will have strong networking knowledge, some mixed-signal experience, and the ability to translate customer requirements into actionable engineering solutions. This position will also assist the Research and Development teams as needed on projects. This position requires excellent communication skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAct as the technical liaison between sales and engineering teams\n\nPlan, set up, and support customer demos\n\nAssist in developing proposals and technical documentation for customer solutions\n\nProvide network architecture expertise and troubleshoot complex networking issues\n\nCollaborate with engineering teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements\n\nParticipate in field demonstrations and integration activities as needed\n\nIntegrate with current engineering teams for support in all programs and activities as assigned\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field\n\n5+ years of experience in systems engineering providing technical solutions\n\nStrong networking background (IP-based systems, routing, switching)\n\nFamiliarity with mixed-signal concepts and integration\n\nExcellent communication and presentation skills\n\nU.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience with SATCOM, RF systems, or tactical networking\n\nKnowledge of LTE/5G technologies and integration with military systems\n\nFamiliarity with DoD acquisition processes and technical proposal development\n\nExperience with Mixed Signal Applications\n\nWork Environment & Travel\nOnsite work model with local duty at APG and Hybrid work when available. Occasional travel (up to 35%) for demos, customer meetings, and field support.\n\nSupervisory Responsibility\nThis position does not supervise others.\n\nPhysical Demands\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; use fingers and hands to type or write; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.\n\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work\nThis is a full-time, exempt position, working Monday through Friday; 40 hours per work week; occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
