This position works in close collaboration with the Install Manager to create a streamlined, efficient, and repeatable installation process—with the goal of achieving a one-day installation wherever possible.\nHigh levels of organization, communication, and coordination are essential to ensure customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance throughout the installation lifecycle.\nCore Responsibilities\n1. Project Coordination & Process Optimization\nPartner with the Sales and Install Manager to develop a structured and efficient installation program.\nOversee the full job lifecycle from sales handoff to project completion.\nWork toward consistent, repeatable processes that ensure high customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.\n2. Permit Management\nResponsible for securing permits, including:\nGathering all necessary installation details.\nApplying via Connecticut town-specific portals.\nEnsuring compliance with local Electrical, Plumbing, Zoning, Wetlands, and Building requirements.\nFollow up regularly to remove obstacles that could delay installations.\nCollaborate with the bookkeeper to process and mail checks for permit applications.\n3. Customer Communication\nProvide proactive communication to customers about installation timelines and expectations.\nMake live phone calls and send emails ahead of scheduled installations.\nClearly communicate the next steps and requirements before work begins.\n4. System & Record Management\nMaintain up-to-date records within the FieldEdge system, including:\nPermit status\nWork order notes\nInspection schedules\nJob tags as status changes\nCreate and manage customer folders and install work orders.
