The Assistant must help manage the maintenance, care, and organization of the shop, confirm and communicate all deliveries, and maintain an inventory control database.\nResponsibilities & Duties:\nPrimary duties include, but are not limited to:\nWork with the company's purchasing managers based on receiving needs and requirements for production and office products\nKeep the KRC Independence, KY shop in a clean and well-organized condition, including directing vendors who perform janitorial, landscaping, or other maintenance services\nPerform purchasing functions once trained and as directed by the Purchasing Manager, such as issuing purchase orders (POs), invoice creation, pricing verification, payment authorization, and complete entries into the accounting system\nInput and maintain an online database of all products; maintain daily inventory update\nPerform inventory cycle counts, spot counts, and the month-end reconciliation process as directed; research any variances and report to Purchasing the appropriate inventory adjustments\nManage the KRC Projects Division fleet vehicle maintenance and inventory.\nPosition requires local travel for supplies, parts, or delivery to local 3rd party vendors.\nSkills:\nExperience in purchasing and inventory control management\nERP experience (Epicor preferred)\nExperience and proficiency in database management, analyzing, and reporting data regarding inventory\nStrong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and ability to exercise independent judgment\nMust be detail-oriented and possess strong collaboration skills\nClear/concise reports indicating key issues to management\nExcellent communication skills, both in oral and written medium\nBilingual skills helpful (English and Spanish)\nQualifications:\nGraduation from an accredited high school; some college is desirable\nDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, record-keeping software\nValid driver’s license and ability to be covered by KRC automotive insurance\nKRC MACHINE TOOL SOLUTIONS OFFERS COMPETITIVE WAGES AND EXCELLENT BENEFITS, INCLUDING:\nTraining & Tuition Reimbursement\nCompany-paid Uniforms and Cell Phones\nPaid Vacation, Sick Time, and Holidays.\nHealth Insurance, Vision, Life, Dental, Long & Short-Term Disability, 401k Profit Sharing\nReferral Bonus Program of $5000\nA Positive Work Environment\nABOUT KRC MACHINE TOOL SOLUTIONS\nKRC Machine Tool Solutions is a provider of machine tools and services specializing in helping customers maximize their production requirements through unique solutions.
