You will play a crucial role in improving, operating and managing IT Systems.\n\n \n Develop and maintain a release schedule to track scheduled deployments, maintenance windows, dependencies, and risks\n \n \n Obtain customer approvals before any functionality is released to environments\n \n \n Align release management processes with ITIL 4 best practices focusing on efficiency, automation, and service value delivery\n \n \n Participate in ECCB and ECAB to coordinate release activities with the customer and Modules to ensure interoperability between systems\n \n \n Establish a structured release process that aligns with governance policies\n \n \n Maintain a Release Listing Document that tracks all planned, in progress, and completed releases\n \n \n Coordinate with development, QA, operations, and business teams\n \n \n Define release scope, objectives, and timelines\n \n \n Oversee the release deployment process, ensuring all pre-release steps are complete (i.e., testing production validation)\n \n \n Develop and enforce rollback plans and contingency strategies in case of release failures\n \n \n Ensure smooth transitions between development, testing, and production environments\n \n \n Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders\n \n \n Act as the primary point of contact for all release-related activity\n \n \n Develop reports providing visibility into timelines, status, and quality of releases\n \n\n Qualifications\n\n \n Five (5) years of work experience managing new product releases or related experience\n \n \n Two (2) years of work with Change Management, Incidents, and CAB processes and procedures\n \n \n Working knowledge of deployment strategies and executing release windows and cycles\n \n \n Working knowledge of IT best practices, policies and regulations, software development lifecycle, and ITIL Release Management Methodology\n \n \n Working knowledge of Risk Management and Mitigation\n \n \n Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or related field\n \n \n Preferred: Healthcare IT Systems, especially MES/Medicaid Systems\n \n\n Requirements\n\n \n Location: Remote. 20-40% travel may be required.\n \n \n Security: A background check will be required.\n \n \n Timeline: This is a contingent job posting.
