{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"dd3a4dd1447ead5aa962e534","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/dd3a4dd1447ead5aa962e534","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/dd3a4dd1447ead5aa962e534","title":"Software Engineer (Cloud)","description":"Job ID:\nLA-1008\n\nJob Title:\nSoftware Engineer (Cloud)\n\nLocation:\nNew Orleans, LA\n\nClearance:\nSECRET\n\nTravel:\nNone\n\nDescription:\nTapHere is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Engineer (Cloud) to join our team in New Orleans, LA supporting Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC-A).\n\nExperience Required:\nTen (10) years with Masters or 14 years with Bachelor’s degree of professional experience with research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs which may include database maintenance within an application area.\nCandidate shall have experience applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting and notable experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g. agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting.\nSpecific Experience:\n\nThree (3) years of technical experience in support of software development for systems hosted within an enterprise hosting environment in the cloud in support of multiple interconnected systems and enterprise managed services.\nExperience may be achieved simultaneously.\nCandidate shall have notable experience supervising and/or mentoring of lesser experienced personnel.\nRequired Certification(s):\n\nAt least one (1) of the following: CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) or Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).\nAt least one (1) of the following: IEEE CS Software Development Professional or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification such as: Microsoft role-based certifications, Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP) role-based certifications, Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Citrix Certified Administrator, Cloud certifications such as AWS Architect, Developer, and SysOps Professional, or other certifications relevant to the role and as approved by the COR.\nPlus: Candidate shall be certified as Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level II or III.\n\nSkills Required:\nEducation:\n\nMaster’s or Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems);
