The company’s latest offering, the WereWolf System, allows for bottom drop trailers to deliver proppant to any frac using containerized sand storage on location.\nOur Mission: We do the basics the best!\nPosition: Electronic Technician\nLocation: Various locations\nRotation: 14 days on duty; 7 days off duty\nReports to: Director of Maintenance\nObjective: The Electronic Technician is responsible for performing electrical and electronic maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on company equipment at various field locations. This role supports the maintenance staff by executing troubleshooting, maintenance, and testing activities in accordance with company quality, safety, and regulatory standards.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, electronic, and computer-based equipment and systems on trucks, power generation equipment, and supporting infrastructure.\nPerform electrical repairs and diagnostics both in the electronic shop and at field locations.\nConduct routine and preventive maintenance on electronic and electrical systems.\nAssist with equipment testing, calibration, and verification using appropriate tools and software.\nFollow written procedures, schematics, and technical documentation when testing and repairing equipment.\nIdentify component-level issues and escalate complex problems to senior technicians or supervisors as needed.\nAccurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in company systems.\nParticipate in job risk analyses, safety meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nSupport commissioning and decommissioning of equipment as required.\nComply with all company policies, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, and applicable government and industry regulations.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nEmployee may be assigned other duties in addition to or in lieu of those described above and, any duties are subject to change at any time according to the needs of the location or Company.\nEducation: Two-Year Associate Degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.\nExperience:\n3–6 years of experience in electrical and electronic maintenance and repair\nOilfield services, power generation, or mobile equipment experience preferred\nHydraulic fracturing or high-voltage systems experience a plus\nValid driver’s license required\nKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities\nWorking knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and electronic components\nAbility to use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools\nFamiliarity with PLCs, sensors, control systems, and power distribution equipment preferred\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced field environment\nCommitment to safety and compliance in a safety-sensitive role\nCompensation:\nThis position offers an attractive compensation package consisting of a hourly rate of $30-40 per hour with additional bonus opportunity.\nBenefits:\nOn Point Technologies currently offers 85-90% employer-paid base plans for Medical, Dental, Vision, Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance.\nWorking Conditions/Physical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
