SNF Patient Account CoordinatorA SNF Patient Account Coordinator ensures that services provided to patients will be reimbursed and assists the Administrator in the majority of back-office duties.Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - FridayResponsibilities and DutiesKnowledge in Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to read, research, and route correspondence to appropriate partiesVerify eligibility and benefits via phone and online portals for a variety of insurances and MedicareComplete intake of new patient admissions in EHR softwareTrack, manage, and collect all co-pays and patient responsibility amounts in a timely mannerComplete monthly charge entries and preparing month end documents required by certain deadlinesEfficiently collect and analyze informationOperate and manage multi-line phone systemWeekly bank depositsProvide tours of the facilityGreet and assist people in a warm and friendly mannerEstablishing and maintaining positive working relationships with co-workersSupport AHC culture by promoting "Friendly, Positive, and Focused on Excellence"All other duties as assignedCompetenciesExperienced in all facets of running an office, i.e., accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reporting, etc.Proficient in mathematical, verbal, written, and computer skills, as well as reasoning abilityExcellent communication, organization, and follow-up skillsAbility to handle multiple assignments simultaneouslyAttention to detail and the ability to work independentlyRequirementsJob QualificationsA minimum of 1- 2 years of medical office experience required.Experience in Billing, Insurance Authorizations, and Insurance Verification.Knowledge of skilled nursing facility operations preferred.Physical RequirementsRegularly required to walk, sit, stand, bend, reach, lift, and move about.Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.To perform other duties as required.
