{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"dd0ff1bf7fe369097a1c2bfb","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/dd0ff1bf7fe369097a1c2bfb","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/dd0ff1bf7fe369097a1c2bfb","title":"EH&S Manager *","description":"Job Details Location: Defiance, OH 43512\nPosition: Full Time\nEducation: 4 Year Degree\nShift: Day\nCategory: Management\nResponsibilities Plan and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety, Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).\nPlan and implement programs to train managers and employees in work site safety practices, fire prevention, and correct handling techniques for chemicals, toxins, equipment and other materials.\nPlan and direct all aspects of the Hazardous Waste Management Program, including compliance, implementation and training.\nPrepare studies and analyses of industrial accident causes and hazards to health for use by company personnel and outside agencies.\nPerform Job Hazard and Job Safety Analysis.\nInspect organization facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determine corrective or preventative measures, and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented.\nProvide information, signs, posters, barriers and other materials to warn of potential and actual safety hazards and to prevent access to hazardous conditions.\nConduct investigation of accidents and injuries and implement corrective actions.\nCompile and submit accident reports required by senior management and regulatory agencies.\nMaintain safety files and records.\nFamiliar with ISO14001.\nAct as Management Representative for the Environmental Management System, responsible for: Ensuring that an environmental management system is established, implemented and maintained.\nReporting to top management on the performance of the environmental management system for review, including recommendations for improvement.\n\nLead Auditor for Environmental Management System.\nMaintain EMS Training Schedule and Matrix and all supporting documentation.\nIdentify gaps and facilitate corrective action plans to comply with EMS requirements.\nEnsure adherence to OSHA and other safety and environmental regulations, policies and procedures.\nBe well versed in Lock Out Tag Out.\nQualifications Bachelor's degree (B.S.
